Andrew is a former consultant engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Professional Engineers of New Zealand. With over 40 years’ experience, Andrew is a leader in community-based projects and a trusted advisor to local authorities throughout New Zealand. A former Beca Director, he has extensive experience in planning, consenting, and developing cultural and recreational community facilities. He has led the strategic planning, design, and delivery of many of our finest sports, recreation, and cultural buildings.
Andrew was on the Board of the Cambridge Home of Cycling and is a trustee on the Eden Project New Zealand Trust. The latter is working to provide an environmental, education, cultural and tourism facility on 60 hectares of residential red zoned land in Christchurch. Andrew is also a strategic advisor for the New Zealand War Memorial Museum in France.
